About the Author

The Witches of Brighton was born from a real place.

For over a decade, Brighton, its streets, its seasons, its people, shaped my life through a restaurant called TheWitchEZ. When my relationship with that space changed, and I was no longer there every day, I found myself returning to it in another way: through story.

I did not begin this book knowing its magic. I discovered it slowly, in the city itself, in its history, in the way certain places seem to remember more than they should. Over more than two years of writing, the characters of this story accompanied me, growing alongside the world that inspired them.

This novel is not Brighton as it is, but Brighton as it feels: layered, watchful, alive. Brighton has its own kind of magic, rooted in place and memory. A pull that draws people in, brings them together, and quietly reshapes lives.

This book has an accompanying soundtrack, created to sit alongside the story rather than guide it.

You may listen while reading, return to it afterward, or leave it untouched. The music is simply another doorway, offered quietly, for those who wish to step through.

Read at your own pace. Listen if you wish.

The story will meet you where you are.
